**UPDATED** Crystal Beast Deck

**UPDATE** Found out there was an error in my deck list xD forgot some numbers *cough cough*

So, I decided to post a Crystal Beast build that I am going to build. It’s still in testing stages so help is appreciated. Thank you

image  image  image

Monsters (14)

  • 3 Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth
  • 2 Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle
  • 3 Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus
  • 3 Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger
  • 3 Thunder King Rai-Oh

image  image  image

Spells (22)

  • 3 Ancient City – Rainbow Ruins
  • 2 Crystal Abundance
  • 2 Crystal Beacon
  • 3 Crystal Blessing
  • 2 Crystal Promise
  • 3 Crystal Release
  • 1 Crystal Tree
  • 3 Rare Value
  • 1 Terraforming
  • 1 Dark Hole
  • 1 Monster Reborn

image  image  image

Traps (4)

  • 3 Horn of the Phantom Beast
  • 1 Torrential Tribute

I Decided to make a crystal beast deck mainly for the new XYZ monsters. Carbuncle special summoning all of those crystal beasts is just too good to pass up. Also, since there are beast type crystal beasts, I am able to splash in 3 Horn of the Phantom beast.

Just a quick note : with Horn Topaz Tiger becomes a 2800 attacker. Wow!! XD

Fableds!

So after the sneak peak and some trades I decided to make a Fabled deck. I honestly never even took a look at the archetype in depth but made a deck with what I got/traded for. Also, constructive criticism is advised xD  Here’s the deck list :

image  image image

Monsters (33)

  • 3 Fabled Raven
  • 3 Fabled Grimro
  • 3 Fabled Kushano
  • 2 Fabled Soulkius
  • 3 Fabled Krus
  • 2 The fabled Peggulsus
  • 2 The Fabled Cerburrel
  • 1 The Fabled Catsith
  • 1 The Fabled Nozoochee
  • 3 Level Eater
  • 3 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
  • 3 Magical Merchant
  • 1 Stygian Street Patrol
  • 1 Morphing Jar
  • 1 Sangan
  • 1 Glow-up Bulb

image image image

Spells (7)

  • 2 Pot of Avarice
  • 1 Charge of the Light Brigade
  • 1 Card Destruction
  • 1 Foolish Burial
  • 1 Monster Reborn
  • 1 Giant Trunade

Extra Deck: (15)

  • 1 Stardust Dragon
  • 1 Scrap Dragon
  • 1 Ancient Sacred Wyvern
  • 1 Gaia, The Force of Earth
  • 2 Hyper Librarian
  • 2 Black Rose Dragon
  • 1 Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
  • 1 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
  • 1 Mist Wurm
  • 2 Fabled Ragin
  • 1 Fabled Unicore
  • 1 Fabled Valkyrus

That’s the deck list. As you can see, there’s a very high monster count, no traps, and a small amount of spells. This is because I want to utilize Magical Merchant’s ability to dump a large amount of cards to the grave to fuel for avarice and to get needed cards to the grave.  Soulkius starts combos with Level Eater, Stygian Street Patrol, Glow-Up Bulb, Kushano etc. This is just an experimental build so help is appreciated! thanks!

Plaguespreader Imposter???

image image

So as many people know, Plaguespreader Zombie is one of the cards that finds its way into many decks. From plants to chaos to Blackwings. The list goes on and on. However, it’s limited status only gives it that much power.

Recently, Konami has introduced another zombie card. This one goes by the name of Pain Painter. It has the same exact stats as Plaguespreader Zombie. 400 attack, 200 defense, Zombie type, Tuner, 2 Stars, Dark attribute. It even has the same facial expression.

Zombie decks have many exclusive synchro monsters that other decks cannot play. The reason behind this is because Plaguespreader is the key to these exclusive synchros. These synchros are:

image imageimage

Of these level 6 synchros, Archfiend Zombie-Skull is the hardest to summon. It also has one of the most strongest effects. It requires Plaguespreader Zombie + 2 or more non-tuner Zombie type monsters. That means you need

  • “Plaguespreader Zombie” + two level 2 zombie type monsters.
  • “Plaguespreader Zombie” + one level 1 zombie type monster + one level 3 zombie type monster
  • “Plaguespreader Zombie” + four level one zombie type monsters.

Yes, it is quite difficult to summon this monster but our new friend Pain Painter makes all this easier. It becomes a Plaguespreader clone the moment it hits the field, and it can even adjust the levels of other monsters on the field to help you make the Synchro Summons you need. It’s also flexible enough to help summon the new Exceed/XYZ monsters.

This card is available in the new booster pack set named Generation Force. This is just another one of those cards that are on many people’s wish lists. Keep an eye out for it!

Card of the Month July 2011 : Pot of Duality

image

Sure the card has been out for quite some time now. Yes it is hard to get and expensive. However, a new product from Konami will change this. The two new 2011 Wave 1 Collectible Tins both come with a copy of Pot of Duality.

Pot of Duality is a Spell Card that lets you reveal the top 3 cards of your Deck, add 1 to your hand, and then shuffle the other 2 back.  You can only activate 1 Pot of Duality each turn, and you can’t Special Summon on the turn you do. However despite these “drawbacks”, it lets you draw into your most important cards faster and more often.

Some types of cards it helps you dig out of your deck are as follows

  • One of Cards
  • Combo Pieces
  • Power Cards
  • Side Deck Cards

This is a very powerful card because of the advantage this card can give you. On your first turn, you start with 6 cards in hand and if one of those is Pot of Duality, you can activate it and you’ll see a total of 9 cards from your deck. By the time your next turn comes by, you will have seen 10 cards from your deck. This is a very strong stand point especially if you drew into the right cards.

Every deck can use this card but there are some that increase in power so much that it’s almost impossible to play without a couple copies of Pot of Duality main decked. Some great examples are :

  • Gravekeepers
  • Stun
  • Agent/Fairy
  • Naturia
  • Worms
  • Gladiator Beast (Proved by Intch95)
  • Blackwings
  • Heroes

The reason why this is my card of the month for July 2011 is not only because of its powerful effect but of how easy it will be to obtain copies of this card.

WT* is right!!!

Soooooooo I was looking at updates from other Yugioh bloggers and one post really stood out. The post was created by Dueling Legacy and it was titled "WTF"

Now out of common human curiosity I clicked it and I saw probably one of the most broken cards ever. Well... To me atleast.

Here's the link to the card

Rescue… Rabbit?

imageimageimage

So everyone is blogging about it, everyone is excited, little girls are squealing, and I’m like woa….

This is a short blog about the new “Rescue Cat.” Despite it’s cute, furry appearance, this little thing is very vicious (in the right hands of course).

According to Yugioh Wikia, Here is Rescue Rabbit’s Stats:

4 stars

Earth type

Beast/Effect monster

Attack : 300

Defense : 100.

Effect:

This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Deck. During your Main Phase: You can banish this face-up card; Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower Normal Monsters with the same name from your Deck. Those monsters are destroyed during the End Phase. The effect of "Rescue Rabbit" can only be used once per turn.'

There are certain decks that can make use of Rescue Rabbit’s abilities, some include Gladiator Beasts, X-Sabers, and even E-Hero decks.

The possibilities start with you…

Worms??? Birds??? Meteors???

Hey guys it’s time for another deck list! This time it’s a worm deck with a little twist to it. For those who know me, you know how much I love the worm archetype and now that they have one of the most broken archetype-based cards; W Nebula Meteorite. Here’s the deck list :

Monsters (19)

image   image image image

1  Worm King

2  Worm Cartaros

3  Worm Xex

3  Worm Yagan

1  Evil Dragon Ananta

1  Honest

2  Caius The Shadow Monarch

2  Genex Ally Birdman

2  Spirit Reaper

2  Chaos Sorcerer

Spells (8)

image image image

1 Swords of Revealing Light

1 Stumbling

1 Monster Reborn

1 Dark  Hole

2 Mystical Space Typhoon

1 Giant Trunade

1 Book of Moon

Traps (13)

imageimage image

3 W Nebula Meteorite

2 Scrap-Iron Scarecrow

2 Bottomless Trap Hole

1 Torrential Tribute

1 Trap Dustshoot

1 Mind Crush

2 Chain Disappearance

1 Solemn Judgement

As you can see, this deck has the worm engine in it but it also has a chaos theme. Ever since I was introduced to Chaos Sorcerer, I always loved the card. I would always try to find ways to put it into the decks that I play. Again, like all the deck lists that I put up on my blog, you can comment, rate, criticize, etc.

Thank you to all my viewers :)

Updates!

Hey Christian here I just wanted to update my viewers with some information.

  • First off I would love to buy your damaged “expensive” cards.
    • For example : You know that damaged Mirror force? Solemn? Brionac? Stardust? Yes, the one that makes you feel like you have to wash yourself after touching it. I would love to buy that off of you. Just give me an email ( sdctenorboy@yahoo.com ) with the price, card name, and some details about the damage. We’ll work things out.
  • Second, For you viewers who want to save money.
    • Do you find yourself…
      • Wishing gas prices were cheaper?
      • Traveling soo much but the money in your pocket isn’t sufficient enough to support the gas needed for those trips? YCS tournaments, Trips with friends, etc.
    • If there was a way for you to NEVER pay for gas again would you be interested?
      • Well… Visit my website for more information.

Decklist: Haven of Peace

Hey guys sorry for the lack of posts! I’ve been studying hard for my midterms for my summer class. So here’s a deck that I’m using right now. It’s an agent deck that focuses on cards that are banished via Master Hyperion, Cards From the Sky, Agent of Miracles – Jupiter, and my Opponents cards. So here’s the deck list (ps: feel free to comment and give ideas thanks!)

Monsters: 19

imageimage image image

3 Master Hyperion

3 The Agent of Mystery – Earth

3 The Agent of Miracles – Jupiter

1 The Agent of Judgment – Saturn

2 Dimensional Alchemist

1 Honest

2 Zeradias, Herald of Heaven

2 Hecatrice

2 Tethys, Goddess of Light

Spells: 13

image image image

3 The Sanctuary in the Sky

2 Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen

3 Cards From the Sky

1 Monster Reborn

1 Mystical Space Typhoon

1 Dark Hole

1 Giant Trunade

1 Book of Moon

Traps: 9

image image image

3 Divine Punishment

2 Miraculous Descent

1 Torrential Tribute

1 Mirror Force

1 Solemn Judgment

1 Return From The Different Dimension

Some of the choices I made:

  • Dimensional Alchemist : With all of the removal I have in this deck, It just seemed so right to have this monster. It can be used to retrieve your banished monsters and can be a quick 1800 beater if needed. It also contributes to the speed of the deck
  • Tethys : With much testing and no Archlord Krystia/Pot of Duality, It actually speeds the deck up. Drop it for Cards from the Sky, use it for Hyperion food then bring it back with Miraculous descent, Jupiter, or Return from the DD. I love how it can also be summoned via Valhalla.
  • Agent – Saturn : With Solemn Judgment being one of the staple cards and also being fairy (see what I did there? :D) easy to get nowadays, the amount of life point decreasing cards people use, and your attacks, Saturn becomes a win condition on its own. I personally love it after a friend of mine suggested it.
  • Hecatrice : It serves 3 functions, 1: It’s own effect (It grabs Valhalla), 2: gives Hyperion something to munch on, 3: Cards From the Sky fodder.
  • Zeradias : It serves some of the same functions as Hecatrice but it also serves as a 2100 beater when possible/needed.
  • Sanctuary in the Sky : It unlocks an effect for each agent monster, allows Zeradias to be used/summoned, let’s me make use of Divine Punishment.
  • Valhalla : It’s fun to use and see people waste resources on it instead of my Return from the DD, Solemn, Divine Punishment, Sanctuary, etc. It also helps me summon Hyperion and Tethys a lot easier.
  • Divine Punishment : Personally it feels great to use a Solemn-like card up to 4 times in a duel.
  • Return from the D.D./Miraculous Descent : Bring back cards that were banished. Also helps with the kill given the right circumstances.

Some cards I’m thinking of using:

image

  • Guardian Eatos : Opening with one, or a few can really be awesome. During mid-game, I find myself without monsters in my grave, they have either been used for cards from the sky, Hyperion food, etc. It would be really interesting. I might use the ocg version of the agent fairy deck with Guardian Eatos teched in with those United We Stands. It’s also a fairy so it can be special summoned via Valhalla. It’s also a trade-in target. Now… just gotta get my hands on a few.

image

  • Darklord Desire : Having the “This card cannot be special summoned” helps me from people using monster reborn on it. It can be tribute summoned by tributing 1 fairy monster. But those effects aren’t what makes it stand out. It is able to reduce its attack by 1000 to send 1 of your opponent’s monsters to the grave. Send not Destroy so stardust cant negate it. It also carries a dark attribute so it gives me ideas on a Chaos variant (If ever Black Luster Soldier gets unbanned).

That’s all I have so far for you guys. Stay tuned for some updates on this deck. Also, I don’t believe I’m the first to try any of these concepts (If I am then more power to me :D ). To those who have thought of these ideas and/or tested them, congrats and keep up the good work lol.

Thanks for your support and views. I believe I’m at 1000+ views! Please Subscribe to my blog. Thank you again to my viewers.

Gold Series 4

So just a really quick post on gold series 4 actually... A few words to be exact.

It's, in my opinion, a big Waste of... Time/Money/material/etc

Soooooooo if you wanted to break even when buying a gold series 4 pack, you would NEED to pull the elusive doom cal knight.

^^;;; yeaaa I'll write more about this after my class.

Just A Random Thought…

Gozen match…
image

Yes it’s a very good side deck card and yea everyone should know about it but have you bothered to look at the card?
So it’s Enishi, Shien's Chancellor vs Grandmaster of the Six Samurai and Six Samurai Shien watching. Who will win? Well… closer inspection of the picture shows that Enishi, Shien's Chancellor is defending (1200 Def) while grandmaster is on the assault. (2100 Atk) You can tell by their stances/positions. Who do you think is winning? XD

Just thought it was interesting.

Decklist: Destiny’s End

Ok  here’s a deck that I’m currently using. It’s fun and it has my favorite card; Destiny End Dragoon. So the story goes my brother and I were buying YuGiOh Light of Destruction booster packs and I said “Watch me pull….” and before I finish saying “Destiny End Dragoon” he goes “This?” and rubs it in my face.  lol. Yea I know it’s not much of a story… So here’s the card and decklist.

image

Once per turn, you can destroy 1 monster your opponent controls and inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK. If you activate this effect you cannot conduct your Battle Phase that turn. During your Standby Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard, you can remove from play 1 "Destiny Hero" card from your Graveyard to Special Summon this card.

Card of the Month June 2011 : Master Hyperion

image

Name: Master Hyperion

Type: Fairy/effect

Attribute: Light

Leve: 8

Atk/Def: 2700/2100

Effect: You can remove from play 1 "Agent" monster from your side of the field, hand, or Graveyard to Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard to select 1 card on the field and destroy it. If you control a face-up "The Sanctuary in the Sky", you can use this effect up to twice per turn.

As the month of May comes to a close and June begins, players may be asking themselves “What deck should i play?” Well, you’re in luck! This June 16, 2011 TCG players can get their hands on the new structure deck; The Lost Sanctuary. Within this deck is this month’s selected “Card of the Month” for June.

So let’s get on with why this card is so great shall we? Well there’s not much to say… it’s a High Atk, East to summon Fairy, with a Dark Armed Dragon effect. Isn’t that all you need to know?

So with that said, “PUT THE POWER OF THE PLANETS IN YOUR HANDS” with this new Structure deck!
